World's Best To-Do List supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard AI assistants use to connect to apps. Once connected, your assistant can read and update your list for you, while you stay in charge of what it can access.

What your assistant can do

  • See your to-dos — every page, category and task, with its status and whether it's High Priority.
  • Add tasks — into a category, as a subtask, or straight into High Priority. With no category, they land in your Inbox.
  • Add categories — on any page.
  • Mark tasks complete — or waiting, skipped, or back to open.
  • Move tasks to High Priority — and back out again.

It can't delete tasks, see other people's lists, or change your settings or password.

How to connect

  1. In ChatGPT, Claude, or another assistant that supports MCP, add a custom connector.
  2. Paste this address: https://worldsbesttodolist.com/api/mcp
  3. Sign in to World's Best To-Do List when asked, then tap Approve.

That's it. The exact menu names vary by assistant — look for "Connectors", "Integrations" or "MCP servers".

How it works & privacy

Your assistant never sees your password. You sign in on our site and approve access, and the assistant receives a secure key that only works for your list. Every request is checked against your account, exactly like when you use the app yourself.

Tasks your assistant adds are marked as coming from an assistant, and they follow the same nightly rollover as everything else: done and skipped tasks are archived to your history.

Does it cost extra?

No. Connecting an assistant is included.

Can I disconnect it?

Yes — remove the connector in your assistant at any time and it loses access.

Which assistants work?

Any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors with sign-in, including ChatGPT and Claude.
