Why a nightly rollover beats a giant backlog

A short daily reset keeps the Today list honest and archives what you actually finished.

A backlog that never resets becomes a graveyard. You stop trusting it, you stop opening it, and eventually you start a new list somewhere else.

A nightly rollover fixes this with almost no ceremony: at a set hour, tasks marked done move to history. Waiting, irrelevant, and open tasks stay where they are, including in High Priority. The categories stay put, and the work you actually finished is still searchable.

Pick a rollover hour you'll actually be asleep for

The current default is 4am. If you're usually awake then, choose a later hour. The point is that the day flips over cleanly without you having to think about it.
