Claude can add and update tasks in World's Best To-Do List (WBTDL) through a remote MCP connector. Connect your account, enable the connector in your conversation, and ask Claude to work with your saved list. You can return to the tasks in WBTDL after the conversation ends.
Add WBTDL as a Claude connector
Anthropic's remote connector guide describes the setup below. Availability and organization permissions can affect which options you see; a team workspace may need its owner to configure the connector first.
- Open Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Enter a name and this remote server URL:
https://worldsbesttodolist.com/api/mcp. - Continue through the detected authentication options and sign in to WBTDL using OAuth.
- Add the connector. In your conversation, open +, then Connectors, and enable it.
Ask Claude to list your pages and categories without making changes. This gives you a quick check that it's connected to the right account and gives Claude the destinations it needs for the next request.
Turn a plan into a few concrete actions
Suppose you're working through a small website launch. The conversation may cover messaging, design, and a dozen things you could improve. You don't need all of them on tomorrow's list. Ask for a short draft first:
From our launch plan, suggest three next actions I can actually finish. Start each with a verb. Don't save anything yet, and flag anything that needs a decision from me.
Edit the suggestions, then ask Claude to save the approved tasks in your existing Launch category. If that category doesn't exist, it can create one on an existing page. It can't create a new page through the current MCP tools.
Ask it to show the saved titles and destination afterward. If you've already entered some of the work, have Claude read that category first and check for duplicates before adding more. There's no automatic duplicate protection.
Keep the list honest as work changes
After you send the launch copy for review, you can ask Claude to mark that task done and add “Get approval on launch copy” as a separate task. Set the new task to waiting if the next move belongs to someone else. You'll be able to see both what happened and what's still unresolved while those tasks remain active.
Claude can also change High Priority and assign tasks to existing members of a shared page. Be explicit about the task and person. Asking it to use one category guides its behavior; it doesn't technically limit the connector's access to that category. See what the connection can read and change.
If your next actions are buried in a call recap, start with the example in turning meeting notes into tasks. For another client's setup, use the MCP connection guide.
